NRG Energy’s Vivint Smart Home division seeks a Field Service Technician to install, service, and sell smart home technology at customers’ residences. You will personally upgrade systems, educate homeowners, and contribute to a safety-conscious, customer-first experience.

Expect a sales‑oriented role with on‑site work, paid training, and opportunities to advance within a national organization; a valid driver’s license is required, with a 4/10 schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home tech on-site.
• Evaluate homes to recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate customers on how to use their new system for protection and peace of mind.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
