Job summary

Daisy is seeking an AV Installation & Service Technician for our North Jersey team, based at Ho‑Ho‑Kus. You’ll split time between our shop and client homes, installing and supporting smart home systems that integrate lighting, shades, audio/video, networking, and security.

This hands-on, customer-facing role emphasizes quality work and clear communication. Travel to client sites, troubleshoot on-site, and collaborate with senior technicians while representing Daisy.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of AV/Networking/Technology Integration experience or related field.
• Professional, customer-first attitude representing Daisy in clients' homes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and judgment to know when to escalate.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home automation systems (lighting, shades, audio/video, networking, security).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site independently or with senior technicians.
• Travel to client homes for installs and service calls; maintain tools and vehicle in good order.
• Communicate clearly with clients and industry professionals; document progress and materials used.
