Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking an IoT Engineer to design and deploy the connected manufacturing ecosystem across its plants. You will connect PLCs, robotics, sensors, and production equipment, building edge-to-cloud data pipelines and enabling digital twins for visibility and efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with controls engineers, automation vendors, and operations teams to scale deployments, improve reliability, and advance Ashley’s Industry 4.0 journey across global facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Industrial IoT solutions for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to integrate PLCs, robotics, sensors and production equipment.
• Familiarity with edge-to-cloud data pipelines and industry protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Industrial IoT integrations across multiple facilities.
• Connect MES, ERP and enterprise platforms to manufacturing systems.
• Develop secure data pipelines using MQTT, OPC-UA and REST APIs.
• Create scalable, reusable integration patterns for Smart Factories.
• Lead FAT/SAT and production-scale deployment activities.
