Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize product costing, routing, and process standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes developing production methods and improving education and pay systems for production and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field with 2+ years in manufacturing, plus experience in Lean, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in industrial engineering or related field.
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2+ years experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, Facilities, etc., preferred.
• Knowledge of labor management systems and incentive-based pay preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement concepts preferred.
• Proficient in analytics and data manipulation using Excel and other tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product costing systems and product routing systems.
• Oversee process standards systems and develop production methods.
• Lead pay systems for manufacturing and warehouse personnel and drive incentive structures.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and Facilities to support labor management.
• Analyze data and processes to identify optimization opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
