Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Jenkintown, PA, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Systems & Digital Integration Engineer to build the digital backbone of an Industry 4.0 aerospace manufacturing facility.

You will design data architecture, enable real-time visibility, and drive data-driven decision making across the production floor. The role collaborates with Automation & Controls engineers and site leadership to implement infrastructure for a fully connected smart factory, including data

Qualifications

7-10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Industrial automation and controls.
Experience with data-driven improvement initiatives or digital manufacturing tools.
Development of data collection and system integration for a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Design data pipelines connecting PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, and IIoT systems.
Define data structures, tagging strategies, and governance standards.
Define how machine data translates into OEE, downtime, and yield metrics.
Ensure scalable and reliable data flow across systems.
Collaboration to identify data platforms and interoperability across the enterprise.
