Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a talented Smart Contract Developer to join their team on-site. You will write, test, and deploy secure contracts for blockchain applications, collaborating closely with backend and frontend developers to integrate contracts into dApps.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of software development, with at least 1 year in smart contracts, deep Solidity knowledge, and familiarity with Truffle or Hardhat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development, with at least 1 year focused on smart contract development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with Truffle and Hardhat frameworks.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts, cryptography, and security best practices for smart contracts.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts on Ethereum and other networks.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices in smart contract development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to security and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend developers to integrate contracts into dApps.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to contract execution and deployment.
