Job description

The Childhood Cancer Society is dedicated to supporting families facing pediatric cancer, both financially and emotionally. Our mission is to bring hope and joy through various initiatives, including a cryptocurrency aimed at enhancing fundraising efforts and expanding outreach.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy EVM-compatible smart contracts for the cryptocurrency.
  • Implement token standards (ERC-20) and ensure secure minting processes.
  • Create and integrate smart contracts with Layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum and Base.
  • Collaborate on establishing and managing liquidity pools (e.g., Automated Market Maker pools).
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain the security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.

Please note: Compensation for this role will be provided in cryptocurrency rather than cash.

  • Proficiency in Solidity or similar programming languages for EVM smart contracts.
  • Experience working with Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions (Arbitrum, Base).
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, token standards (ERC-20), and wallet integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
