Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Smart Contract Auditor to join a fully remote global team. You will conduct in-depth security analyses of decentralized applications and protocols, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations to developers.

Work remotely with world-class security experts, using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. A strong understanding of smart contract security and Ethereum is essential to ensure the safety of the blockchain ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in smart contract development or security auditing.
• Strong understanding of Ethereum and its ecosystem.
• Experience with security auditing tools like Slither/MythX/Echidna and static/dynamic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of contracts written in Solidity, Rust, or other relevant languages.
• Identify vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, overflows/underflows, front-running, and logic errors.
• Analyze code for security flaws, potential exploits, and gas inefficiencies.
• Conduct penetration testing and fuzzing of smart contracts and dApps.
• Provide detailed audit reports with clear explanations of risks and mitigations.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain findings and guide fixes.
• Stay up-to-date with threats and best practices in blockchain security.
• Contribute to internal auditing tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
• Experience with security auditing tools (e.g., Slither, MythX, Echidna) and static/dynamic analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read and understand complex codebases efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical security issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
