Responsibilities

• Translate technology compliance rules into Ruby guardrails baked into the build.
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for low-drama production environments.
• Sit with Albany users to learn what the REST API tool needs.
• Backfill Express.js test coverage on risky code areas.
• Mentor mid-level hires on how Express.js wires together.
• Partner with QA to define test coverage and catch regressions early.
• Wire Ruby APIs to consumers so data lands where Albany teams expect it.
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in postmortems.
