The Smart Buildings Project Coordinatorsupportsthe project management teamwithdocument control, project scheduling, financial documentation,and project close-outto ensure projects move smoothly through project milestones.The position will report into our Branch Location branch with 3 days onsite and 2 days home office based.
As a Smart Buildings Project Coordinator, you will:
- Maintain documentation for project booking packages,ensuringthatpackagesarecomplete andkept up to date.
- Scheduleand attendproject turnover meetingsand record important project details.
- Coordinate material purchasing and delivery,track shipments, and account for costs.
- Maintain billing and collections documentation;communicateissues to the project management team.
- Create purchase requisitions for subcontracts. Complete subcontract agreements and bond documents.
- Create a monthly snapshot for all projects and identifychanges inplanned costs.
- Track timesheet submittalsfor projects and ensure all timesheets are submitted before month-end.
- For projects set to close, ensure they do not have unissued material, are 100%billed,and do not contain committed costs.
- Maintain excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
You will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and understandconstruction contracts
- Must either hold a notary currently or meet the qualifications to become a notary
- Experience with Microsoft Officeand business software systems
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred qualifications:
- Office/Administrative experience
- Experience in similar industry or construction industry
- Familiarity or experience withHVAC/Fire Alarm/Security systems
- SAP experience strong preferred

- The pay range for this position is $42,280 - $64,080. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
