Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, job routings, and work instructions.
• Independently set up and operate small presses to achieve quality parts and maximum production efficiency.
• Set up basic tooling and prepare presses for production runs.
• Stage all required materials so production can begin without delay.
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify material specifications.
• Learn to perform root cause analysis on die or press issues and coordinate with toolroom and maintenance for repairs.
