Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word invites part-time faculty candidates for the Small Interactive Groups Facilitator (SIGS) role in UIWSOM. The facilitator guides and evaluates the SIGS process during the first two years of the DO curriculum, with sessions held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

Successful candidates will complete the SIGS facilitator training program and uphold UIW's professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in any education or health profession field.
• Experience in small group facilitation preferred.
• Doctoral level or terminal degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide a group of 8-10 learners in the SIGS process and ensure session boundaries.
• Follow up with reflection questions as appropriate.
• Conduct performative and summative evaluations of learners.
• Attend SIGS facilitator debriefs.
• Collaborate with departmental faculty to ensure curriculum outcomes are met.
• Maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff and students.
• Adhere to UIW policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
