Part-time (0.2–0.4 FTE) with 8–16 hours weekly; typically Tuesdays/Thursdays on site. Requires DO or MD and completion of ACGME residency; salary around $41,000 annualized per contract year, contract year aligned with UIW

Qualifications

• D.O. or M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency training program.
• Preferred: completed residency in primary care; 1 year post-residency practice.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Teach based on approved departmental syllabi; deliver interactive instruction using competency-based, integrated methods.
• Cover topics/skills: clinical reasoning, medical interviewing, communication, examination, osteopathic manipulative medicine, and procedures.
• Prepare timely assessments; ensure curriculum outcomes are met with faculty collaboration.
• Mentor or advise as assigned by the Chair; adhere to policies and timely feedback to students.
• Maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, and students; participate in meetings as requested.
