Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware is seeking a reliable Small Engine Technician to join our service team in Ohio. You will repair, maintain, and service small engine equipment, including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators.

Training and Stihl Silver Certification within the first year are available to the right candidate. We offer a $1,500 signing bonus paid in installments and a comprehensive benefits package with on-the-job growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in small engine repair preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training available for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain small engine equipment, including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators.
• Diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
• Test repaired equipment and document service activities.
• Maintain service records and order/install parts as needed.
• Interact with customers to explain repairs and offer care guidance.
