GREENSTOCK LANDSCAPING LLC is seeking a reliable Part-Time Small Engine Mechanic to maintain and repair lawn care equipment in our shop in Minnesota. The role covers mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools to keep our fleet operating smoothly during peak service days.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on small engines, perform routine tune-ups, and document work performed. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with small engines or lawn equipment is required.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues independently.
• Knowledge of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs in a shop setting.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on small engines and lawn equipment.
• Service mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.
• Perform oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, and tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Keep the shop organized and manage tool inventory.
• Document repairs and ensure equipment is ready for daily use.
• Assist with equipment pickup or delivery when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on small engines and lawn care equipment
• Service commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and related tools
• Conduct routine oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, tire repairs, and engine tune-ups
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain organized shop area and proper tool inventory
• Document repairs and maintenance performed
• Ensure equipment is ready for daily field operations
• Assist with equipment pickup or delivery if needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on small engines or lawn equipment required
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues independently
• Basic knowledge of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines

Work Schedule

• Part-time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
