Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Landscape Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial landscape equipment, with emphasis on 2-cycle and small engine work. You will support field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for daily use.

Experience of at least 3 years in small engine repair, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capability to work in outdoor and shop environments with strict safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable experience repairing small engines and commercial landscape equipment.
• Strong knowledge of 2-cycle engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least 3 consecutive years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain 2-cycle engines (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial landscape equipment, including mowers and small engines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Operate company vehicles to transport equipment as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
