Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies is seeking an experienced technician to perform diagnostics, service, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment in a fast-paced shop. You will follow manuals and safety procedures while reporting on equipment status and maintaining tools and workspace.

Candidates should have 2+ years of diagnostic/repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly. Associates degree is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing diagnostic and service repairs on 2 and 4 stroke equipment.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Fork lift license preferred.

• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
• All other duties as assigned

Description

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.
