JPMorganChase in California seeks a Business Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of small- to mid-sized business clients. You will deliver tailored financial solutions, advise on cash management, and coordinate with internal partners to meet client goals.

Role requires relationship building, risk-aware decision making, and strong communication across teams. On-site role within our Business Banking footprint, with opportunities to expand client services and deepen community ties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
• General business experience and knowledge of business credit, core products and services
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internal and external
• Balance needs of clients with risk and firm interests and know when to elevate or handle independently
• Determine and balance priorities to achieve business objectives and own problems for clients
• Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million; provide deposits and cash management solutions and manage credit opportunities up to ~$500,000
• Deliver an outstanding experience by offering customized business banking solutions
• Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify solutions that serve the client and portfolio profitability
• Regularly conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients at their places of business and maintain relationships
• Identify and pursue new business clients and cultivate long-term banking relationships
• Build collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business to meet client financial needs
• Provide leadership by supporting branches and following risk management protocols and regulatory requirements
