Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a Small Business Banker II to service and grow a portfolio of small business clients with revenues up to $5 million. You will promote and sell banking products, deepen client relationships, and help clients meet cash flow and financing needs.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, adherence to bank policies, and delivering excellent service in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of banking experience as a Small Business Banker II or higher.
• Solid credit experience including loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Proven success in acquiring and growing small business relationships.
• Ability to complete independent pre-screens and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborative, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meets and exceeds individual and/or team sales goals, including deposits and loans.
• Develops and maintains a prospect list and participates in networking/outside sales.
• Grow profitability of the small business client base and deposit/loan relationships.
• Prospect and acquire new priority small businesses; retain and deepen existing relationships.
• Coordinate with Lending staff on loan applications and compliance with credit regulations.
