Overview

SCORE "Counselors of America's Small Business Owners" is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses.

The Dayton Chapter of SCORE also supports local nonprofit organizations through a series of six workshops: Fundraising, Planning, Board Development, Marketing, Financial Management, and Volunteer Management.

Members also provide face to face client mentoring.

SCORE is a national nonprofit volunteer organization that provides personal business coaching to small businesses and nonprofit organizations at no cost. SCORE has a local chapter in the Dayton - Cincinnati corridor.

Volunteers need to have extensive business experience in any aspect of business and planning. Mentors have a variety of clients and have a total of several mentoring sessions per month based on their area of expertise and time availability.
