Job summary

PIMCO seeks a Project Manager for the SMA Program Management team to coordinate the program portfolio, set priorities, and drive initiatives from planning to completion.

You will be the central liaison among Business Analysts, technology teams, and stakeholders, translating requests into actionable plans, maintaining deliverables, timelines, and accountability in a fast-paced financial services environment. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Copilot, Lucidchart and Agile practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-6 years in project/program management, business analysis, or related field.
• Financial services experience required.
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, Copilot and Lucidchart.
• Experience coordinating Agile/Scrum teams, including daily standups and backlog management.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Own project intake, prioritization, and tracking across multiple initiatives using Jira
• Lead daily standups and coordinate project activities to ensure deliverables remain on track
• Drive accountability across Business Analysts and technology partners to execute against agreed timelines and objectives
• Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to Business Analysts, helping them expand ownership of key applications and technology relationships
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, and PMO processes
• Create and maintain workflow documentation, process maps, and operational procedures
• Partner with business stakeholders to align priorities and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies
• Continuously improve team processes, governance, and delivery practices
