Job summary

Enovis is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician (SLS & EBM) in Austin, TX to support production of orthopedic and implantable devices. You will operate powder‑bed fusion systems, verify build files, manage powders, and ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands‑on experience with SLS/EBM, familiarity with GD&T, and strong documentation skills. The team emphasizes continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced medical device

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with SLS and/or EBM systems.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments and GD&T fundamentals.
• Knowledge of inventory management software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor SLS systems (polymer materials) and EBM systems (titanium alloys).
• Load, prepare, and verify build files; manage powder handling and post-processing.
• Maintain build logs, material traceability, and compliance with FDA/ISO 13485.
• Support heat treatment coordination and HIP processes as needed.
• Ensure lot traceability for implantable components and perform routine quality checks.
