Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students near Carnation, WA. This contract role runs ASAP through the current school year, offering hands-on experience in both educational and healthcare settings.

You will work under supervising SLPs to help students reach speech and language goals. You must hold a valid Washington SLPA license and enjoy collaborative work with teachers, parents, and therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Washington SLPA License (required).
• Experience as SLPA in school or healthcare setting desirable.
• Effective communication with students, educators and therapy teams.
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to meet diverse learners' needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech Language Pathologists to support students' speech and language goals.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, delivering targeted interventions within a school environment.
• Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and preparation of materials for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with district, state, and federal requirements regarding student records and therapy.
