Job summary

Hopedale Public Schools seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for Memorial Elementary School in Hopedale, MA. You will work under a licensed SLP to deliver high-quality speech therapy to students from K through 6th grade.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, tracking progress, preparing materials, and maintaining records in compliance with HIPAA/FERPA and district policies. This is a full-time position within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Current MA SLPA Licensure/Registration required or eligible.
• ASHA SLPA certification (C-SLPA) preferred but not required.
• Strong organization and patience for working with children with diverse needs.
• Appropriate MA DESE licenses required

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language therapy sessions with individual students or small groups per IEPs.
• Document performance, collect data, and report findings to supervising SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and assist with AAC devices.
• Communicate with teachers and staff to support accommodations.
• Maintain confidential student records per Medicaid and FERPA regulations
