Job summary

Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible full-time hires, with competitive benefits and on-site opportunities.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with nursing and medical staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for serving the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional guidelines.
