Job summary

PruittHealth seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Pensacola team. This role focuses on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function for residents in post-acute and SNF settings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current State SLP license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
