Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Lancaster, SC. This PRN role involves delivering patient-centered, one-on-one therapy in the home setting, with team support and opportunities for growth within a growing organization.

You will provide expert evaluations, therapy, and education to patients and families, while coordinating care with the healthcare team to ensure continued progress and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their speech or language needs and determine continued therapy
• Teach patients how to produce sounds and improve voice quality
• Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language) for patients with limited speech
• Educate and guide the healthcare team and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions
• Document progress and clinical notes; submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
