Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join Vibra Healthcare’s team. The role offers a full-time option with a generous sign-on bonus and a flexible part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include comprehensive speech-language pathology services, assessments, treatment planning, and documentation under physician orders, in a fast-paced hospital setting. Candidates must meet licensure, CCC-SLP/CFY, ASHA, and BLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of employment.
• CCC-SLP or CFY in progress is required.
• ASHA membership is required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and documentation; work under physician orders.

Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
