Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The role covers assessment, treatment, program planning and documentation under physician orders in a fast-paced care setting.

Requirements include an active SLP license in California, CCC-SLP (or CFY in progress), ASHA membership, and Vibra-approved BLS certification. Prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• CCC-SLP required or in process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year.
• ASHA membership required.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and documentation.
• Functions under physician’s orders.

Education

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48.00/hr to $63.33/hr
