Job summary

Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehab in Irving, TX is seeking a compassionate Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support residents' communication, cognition, swallowing, and independence. Work within an in-house rehabilitation team to deliver personalized therapy and develop treatment plans.

New graduates welcome. You will educate residents, families, and staff, participate in diagnostic swallowing procedures, and ensure compliant documentation while adhering to all professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology state license in good standing.
  • Current ASHA certification.
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate residents, families, caregivers, and clinical staff.
  • Collaborate on diagnostic swallowing procedures, including MBSS and FEES.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Communicate changes in resident conditions to the care team.
  • Ensure compliance with all professional, legal, and confidentiality standards.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – FULL TIME

Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about helping residents improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall independence. As part of our collaborative in-house rehabilitation team, you will provide personalized, resident-centered therapy and develop individualized treatment plans that support meaningful progress, improved function, and a higher quality of life. New SLP graduates are welcome to apply.
