Job summary

Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team for full-time employment. The role focuses on helping residents improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall independence with personalized, resident-centered therapy and treatment plans.

New graduates are welcome to apply. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate residents, families, and staff, and participate in diagnostic swallowing

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology state license in good standing.
  • Current ASHA certification.
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate residents, families, caregivers, and clinical staff.
  • Collaborate on diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS/FEES).
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Communicate changes in resident conditions to the care team.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, legal, and confidentiality standards.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – FULL TIME

Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about helping residents improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall independence. As part of our collaborative in-house rehabilitation team, you will provide personalized, resident-centered therapy and develop individualized treatment plans that support meaningful progress, improved function, and a higher quality of life. New SLP graduates are welcome to apply.
