Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in the Greater Oxnard area. The caseload is at one site, primarily pre-k through 12, with duties including assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy plans to support communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities include counseling families, integrating assistive technologies, and conducting screenings.

Qualifications

• Current CA state SLP license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Relevant SLP experience.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements.
• Bilingual SLP preferred.

• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews for diagnosis information.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and language disorders.
• Offer counseling and support to clients and families.
• Train individuals in assistive communication technologies.
• Conduct screenings to identify at-risk individuals and implement preventive measures.

Overview:

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
• Bilingual SLP Preferred
