The Pavilion at Piketon in Piketon, OH is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation services team in a PRN capacity. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide skilled therapy to residents with neurological, cognitive, and age-related impairments in a long-term care setting.

This role emphasizes dysphagia management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current SLP license in the state.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with resident goals and clinical best practices.
• Provide skilled therapy to residents with neurological, cognitive, and age-related impairments.
• Implement dysphagia management and safe-swallow strategies.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Document services accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe-swallowing techniques.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the rehab department.
