Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor residents’ speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with clinical autonomy and a varied caseload.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
• State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Clinical Competence Certification (preferred).
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Current CPR/BLS credential.
• Maturity, diplomacy and ability to work with others.
• Verification of qualifications by the State Department of Health.
• Read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Support positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
