Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy in Big Rapids, Michigan (hybrid: virtual or in person) seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support Early Childhood Special Education students. The role offers hourly pay of $55-65 and a flexible schedule as part of a supportive educational team.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy, maintain records, and collaborate with families and school staff to advocate for appropriate caseloads and high-quality

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Michigan SLP license or eligible.
• ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply if district-approved).
• Passion for helping young children develop communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to each client's communication goals.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Advocate for appropriate caseloads and high-quality therapist support.
• Five Kindergarten classrooms.
• One Young Kindergarten classroom.
• Supportive educational team.
• Caseload maintained between 40-45 students.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Michigan SLP License (or eligible)
