Job summary

The USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery invites applications for a staff position in our Division of Speech-Language Pathology. The role requires an MS in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP, and California licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of adult speech, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative outpatient setting at Montrose.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP certification or CF eligibility
• California state licensure eligibility
• Evidence-based assessment and treatment knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with EMR documentation
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals
• Provide direct one-on-one speech-language therapy
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment strategies, and home programs
• Complete clinical documentation including evaluations and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to coordinate care
• Maintain on-site safety, organization, and quality of care
• Supervise graduate students or clinicians as assigned
