Job summary

Small Steps, a Sevita family clinic in Providence, RI, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support children with speech, language, feeding, and sensory needs. You’ll develop treatment plans, provide direct therapy, document progress, and coach families for carryover at home and in the child’s natural environment.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Commitment to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support children with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, social communication, and feeding/swallowing needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy.
• Document progress and coach caregivers for carryover at home and in the child’s natural environment.
