Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing, LLC seeks a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide education-based therapy in Oklahoma City for the 2026/2027 school year. Roles include screenings, implementing SLP-designed plans, and direct therapy under supervision.

The position supports collaboration with teachers and parents, with in-person service delivery and 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• SLPA State Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting screenings to help identify students with speech and language needs.
• Support the implementation of individualized, evidence-based treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision, targeting communication skills that support academic and social success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to help integrate speech and language strategies into classroom activities.
• Prepare progress notes and share observations with the supervising SLP to inform IEP meetings and ongoing planning.
• Monitor student performance during sessions and provide feedback to the supervising SLP for adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy activities, student responses, and assigned documentation.
• Participate in training and professional development to remain current with best practices in speech and language support.
