Job summary

HTU in Oklahoma seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed SLPs in patient care. You will implement programs, assist with screenings, assessments, and treatment, document care, and communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field) with SLPA coursework
• At least 100 hours of supervised clinical experience under a licensed SLP
• Ability to work under the direct or indirect supervision of a licensed SLP
• Willingness to apply for licensure through the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (OBESPA), including submission of transcripts, verification of clinical hours, and payment of fees
