Job summary

Hollywood Casino Aurora is seeking a Slot Technician to perform repairs on Electronic Gaming Devices, including the Slot Monitoring System. You will install, relocate, and convert slot machines, and perform routine maintenance and upgrades on electronic gaming devices.

Attendance at departmental and company meetings is required as part of the role. The starting salary is $22.00 per hour, with opportunities for further training and advancement in a dynamic casino environment in Aurora, Illinois.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate with guests.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and calculations.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
• Must be able to lift and push more than 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs.

Qualification Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience related to the nature of the position
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem solving
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
• Must be able to lift and push more than 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs.
