Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is seeking a Slot Technician to maintain and service SLOT machines and related gaming equipment. The role requires diagnosing malfunctions on the casino floor and taking prompt action to minimize downtime.

You will install, upgrade and repair equipment, ensure safety standards, and support preventative maintenance. A NJ CER or ability to obtain one is required; willingness to work all shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience and/or training as electronics technician responsible for maintenance and repair; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must hold valid CER issued from NJ Gaming Enforcement or able to obtain one.
• The department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, convert, service, adjust and repair SLOT machines and related gaming equipment.
• Test, diagnose malfunctions and take immediate action to restore operation on the casino floor.
• Rebuild, overhaul, calibrate, align and modify slot machines and related equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment in the area of responsibility.
• Perform preventative maintenance and relocation tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service to managers and ethics channels as needed.
