Job summary

Feather Falls Casino is seeking a Slot Technician to maintain all gaming machines and ensure quality entertainment for guests in Northern California. The role reports to the Slot Technician Manager and Slot Department Manager and is housed in the Slot Department.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of electronics-related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and can read safety rules and maintenance instructions. A Class A Gaming license is required with a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience in electronics-related field preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all gaming machines for the quality entertainment of Casino guests.
• Check machine repair log daily and service noted machines.
• Report to Slot Technician Manager any machine left out of order and document report.
• Maintain a log of machines opened/tested/repaired and record repairs.
• Adhere to Casino and department policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Slot Technician Manager, Casino Shift Manager, and Slot Department Manager.
• Record and report any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act and Feather Falls Casino policy.

Position Purpose
Maintain all gaming machines for the quality entertainment of Casino guests.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Check gaming machine repair log daily and service noted machines.
• Report to Slot Technician Manager any machine left “out of order” and document detailed report.
• Maintain a log of machines opened and/or tested or repaired, and record repairs made.
• Adhere to Casino and department policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Slot Technician Manager, Casino Shift Manager, and Slot Department Manager.
• Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.

Education and/or Experience

Education Level – High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience – Minimum six months experience in an electronics-related field preferred

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
