Job summary

Lakeside Hotel Casino in Osceola, IA is seeking a Slot Technician I to maintain and repair electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and service machines, replacing worn parts and coordinating with maintenance staff.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer experience skills.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust and repair slot machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
  • Use of tech card.
  • Assist in testing, bench-repairs, and evaluation of slot machine monitors.
  • Maintain other casino electronic devices.
  • Conduct general maintenance and service on all machines and equipment.
  • Assist in examine defective machines to diagnose causes of malfunctions.
  • Conduct daily inspections of machines and equipment.
  • Participate in the programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
  • Display a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
  • Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for clocking in and out on time according to work schedule.
  • Maintain and understand compliance with IRGC, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform all job functions safely and responsibly.

Summary:

The Slot Technician I maintains and repairs all electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –Other duties may be assigned:
  • Adjust and repair slot machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
  • Use of tech card.
