Slot Tech Supervisor

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)

Description

As a lead the daily operations of the Slot Tech Department, directly supervising slot and bench technicians to ensure top performance at both Arizona Charlie’s properties. You step in to perform technical duties as needed, leading by example. Your attention to procedures, safety, and regulations keeps the department running smoothly and supports an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees
• Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
• Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
• Ensures techs are maintaining and repairing slot machines and other slot floor devices
• Oversees and assists techs with breakdowns, moves, and set-ups of machines and stands
• Handles any escalated disputes and/or unusual guest activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• 1-3 years supervisory experience in the same or similar job classification
• Minimum of 5 years slot technical experience in a casino environment
• Working knowledge of gaming equipment repair and ability to perform the necessary functions in a timely and accurate manner
• Experience with the diagnostic monitoring, tracking and other computer related skills
• Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Computer Skills to include Excel, Word, and related applications as needed or directed.
• At least 21 Years of Age
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry up to 100 lbs. Must be able to push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 500 lbs. Utilizing the use of a 2 to 4 wheel Dollies
• Frequently ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
• Regularly Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
• Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
• Frequently standing and walking
• Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
• Ability to distinguish between shades of color
• Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
