Job Description:

Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Slot Tech Manager, the Slot Parts Coordinator will manage all Slot Department inventory through the use of an Inventory Management System. This includes parts research, ordering, receiving, issuing and overall reconciliation of physical inventory.

This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Orders and receives slot machines parts
  • Ensures compliance with all Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures, including Internal Controls (ICs)
  • Displays a high standard of accuracy when performing data entry tasks
  • Tracks incomplete order status and follows up as necessary
  • Reviews daily parts usage, reports accurately and promptly replenish parts inventory levels
  • Packages parts for shipment, and promptly returns warranted and credit-eligible parts to vendors
  • Maintains satisfactory level of critical and frequently used machine components to ensure gaming machine uptime is within acceptable levels
  • Maintains and files all appropriate parts tracking paperwork from all orders
  • Records all parts entries and withdrawals in the database
  • Provides tech management with estimated time of arrival (ETA) for any "out-of-norm" restock or rush order requests, such as but not limited to games out of service awaiting parts
  • Tracks and provides tech management team with cost and expense reports for all slot related parts orders
  • Organizes and maintains cleanliness of the Slot Tech Shop
  • Responsible for the inventory of incoming parts orders for accuracy, documents shortages and/or back-orders, and notifies vendors of all discrepancies and damages
  • Labels all parts and re-stocks bins, establishes new parts bin locations, and updates location information in database
  • Assists with Slot Department projects, technical support, and provides SPIRIT of service to all internal and external guests
  • Responsible for the monitoring of eligible slots and associated equipment software for compliance with the Tohono O’odham Gaming Office (TOGO) software standards
  • Maintains good communication with team members and maintains a positive and professional work environment
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Contributes to a team effort
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED plus 2 years tech support experience; or 2 years warehouse inventory experience or a combination of 2 years related experience. Inventory/ Ordering Management Systems experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Certifications

  • Must have knowledge of mechanical functions, parts, and aspects of slot machines
  • Must have knowledge of physical inventory, random audits, reports and reconciliations, and resolving inventory issues
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with good experience working with Microsoft - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have experience working with an inventory control system
  • Must be able to use electronic tracking and inventory software
  • Must have the ability to follow directions and instructions from management
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a willingness to work well with others on a regular basis
  • Must have knowledge of basic manual hand tool and equipment
  • Must have knowledge of electronic mechanical parts
  • Must have knowledge in electronic systems and electro-mechanical systems
  • Must have the ability to follow and to abide by department, casino, and TOGO policies and procedures
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Relocation to other Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise properties may be required

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly is required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to walk. The team member occasionally is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to focus on details and component quality, while working in a warehouse environment with frequent interruptions.

Work Environment
Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Evening, graveyard, holidays and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
