Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a skilled Slot Department Manager to lead the Slot Operations and ensure adherence to company policy on the casino floor and in the office.

You will supervise staffing, train and coach personnel, resolve customer disputes, contribute to budget prep, and perform analyses to optimize performance. This role requires strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities to drive excellence on the casino floor.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in gaming, with a concentration in slots.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related management experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Slot Operations to ensure proper procedures are being followed in accordance with company policy.
  • Supervise, hire, schedule, train, evaluate, coach, counsel, and terminate Slot Department personnel.
  • Resolve customer disputes arising in the Slot Department.
  • Submit Internal Control revisions to streamline Slot Operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive Slot practice.
  • Utilize professional human relationship skills to select, develop and motivate staff.
  • Evaluate and participate in the approval of customer credit.
  • Assist the Director of Slots in preparation of the departmental budget, and perform the duties of the Director of Slots in his/her absence.
  • Performs slot department performance analyses, operations analyses, and other related functions
