Job summary
Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a slot technician to perform routine and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines and equipment. The role requires troubleshooting faults, reading repair manuals, and communicating clearly via radio while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new slot products.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanics, electronics and electrical functions of gaming machines.
- One year of experience in slots or graduate from slot repair school strongly preferred.
- Able to work with hand tools and power tools.
- Able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Able to stoop, kneel, and crouch while repairing gaming machines.
- Able to push and pull machines and move weights up to 80 pounds.
- Must obtain/maintain any necessary licenses/certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware under supervision.
- Perform immediate, periodic, and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware.
- Repair and diagnose machine faults.
- Isolate electronic faults at board level and refer to senior level slot technician.
- Read and apply information in repair manuals and related materials.
- Communicate effectively via two-way radio.
- Maintain knowledge of new slot products/equipment.
