Job summary
Boyd Gaming is seeking a Slot Technician to perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware under supervision, with on-the-job training aimed at competency. You will handle immediate and overhaul maintenance, diagnose faults, and communicate clearly via two-way radio on a casino floor.
Ideal candidates have knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines, with 1 year of related experience or completion of slot repair school, and
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines.
- One year of experience in slots or related field or graduate from slot repair school preferred.
- Must be able to work with hand and power tools.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, knee, and crouch during shift; lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain licenses/certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware.
- Repair and diagnose machine faults.
- Isolate electronic faults at board level and refer to senior level slot technician.
- Read and apply information from repair manuals and related materials.
