Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
• Ability to use a hand-held radio for communications.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Superior guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently and on a team, and exercise good judgment in handling situations.

An individual could be successful if they possess the following.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Set the example for department by performing all functions of the position with professionalism and the highest level of guest service.Assist guests with how to play, read, and understand slot machines. Address any guest service concerns or questions with the highest level of guest service.Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.Ensures customer service meets established standards.Verifies jackpot payouts but only up to $XX amount.Assists with service light calls in accordance with established procedures.Notifies Lead Slot Attendant if any technical or service issues arise.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.Processes jackpot wins and notifies the CSM as neededUnderstands, promotes and explains company promotions and points systemRecommends Oaklawn Rewards program to players not using a membership cardAccurately completes paperwork within the guidelines of State, Federal regulations and company policies and proceduresSupervises necessary authorization (request for jackpot) and pay out of hand-paid jackpots in accordance with policyEnsures that machines are filled with ticket paper, to keep machines in constant operationServices minor machine and printer malfunctionsSwift response to player needsAssist with marketing promotions as neededEnsures cleanliness of assigned area, reporting issues to appropriate department(s)Assist in maintaining floor security by notifying department heads of any suspicious activityMaintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as the property’s internal controls, policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
