Role

The Slot Attendant encourages new guest enrollments into the A-Play Club while acknowledging and maintaining all aspects of slot-related duties, such as identifying jackpots, generating documents through the online system, and answering all guest questions.

Responsibilities

1. Pay slot machine jackpots and complete the required paperwork neatly and accurately.
2. Enroll players into the loyalty program.
3. Make minor repairs to slot machines and EZ-Pay ticket jams.
4. Keep well informed of types of slot machines on the casino floor to better assist guests in looking for a particular type of machine or denomination.
5. Maintain a “pouch pay” currency bank to pay hand-pay jackpots and provide change assistance to guests.
6. Ensure the overall satisfaction and comfort of the guests.
7. Interact daily with all slot staff and other operational departments to maintain open communication and collect feedback.
8. Maintain awareness of underage gambling and report any underage persons to Security immediately.
9. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous money handling and guest service experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• Outgoing personality and enjoyment in dealing with people.

Target Salary Range: $12.50/hour base rate plus guaranteed tips for up to $25 or more!
